Although my family loves it and fits everyone I thought the material was smoother but then again for the price I paid for it, I can’t really say any more negatives thing about it. Covers come off and I need them to because they’re white and I have kids!

I spent a lot of time exploring cloud-style couches before finally landing on “The Cove” by Furia, and I wanted to share my experience for anyone else on the same search. I first checked out Restoration Hardware their Cloud Couch is undeniably comfortable and makes a strong impression, but with a price tag over $10,000, it’s a significant investment. I also considered 7th Avenue and was impressed by the quality of their fabric, especially how easily it handles spills, and overall it felt like a solid value. Then I came across this standout option…

I’m really glad I measured beforehand because this couch is very large. I’m giving it 4 stars since I’ll need to add a bit more cushioning, but it’s not a major issue for me. Overall, I love it and I’m happy with my purchase.

The sofa was fairly easy to assemble, and the instructions were clear and helpful—I especially liked that each modular section had its own guide. The wooden frame feels very sturdy and heavier than expected, which adds to the overall sense of quality. The fabric is thick, flexible, and has a nice texture, and I love the color—it adds depth rather than looking like a flat black.

With a dog and a young child, I was concerned about upkeep, but while pet hair does cling to the fabric, it’s very easy to remove. Grass and lint are a bit more stubborn, though. I saw other reviews mentioning difficulty with the covers, and I agree it can be confusing at first. A video tutorial would definitely help. That said, once I aligned the seams with the corners (I have some sewing experience), it became straightforward—and honestly, I appreciated how thoughtfully the covers were designed.

I do wish there were care and washing instructions included. I assume a gentle cold wash would be safest, but I’d probably avoid the dryer to prevent shrinking. I chose a darker color to help hide stains, and so far I haven’t needed to spot clean. It also seems like applying a fabric protector could be a good option. There were no strong odors or chemical smells, which I appreciated.

The pillows are large, plush, and hold their shape well. They look great, smell fresh, and the craftsmanship is impressive—the seams are aligned nicely and feel durable. It was also convenient that they came fully assembled and ready to place.

The sofa is very comfortable overall, though the base beneath the seat cushions is a bit firmer than I expected. Sitting between cushions or on the edges can feel a little hard, but I think adding some extra padding inside the liner could fix that. I haven’t connected all the modular pieces yet, but even so, the sofa stays in place well and doesn’t shift, which speaks to its solid construction.

The ottoman storage is impressively large, but I do wish it had a fabric cover over the gray interior material. Right now, it’s only covered by the pillow, so the gray can show if you’re not careful. That was a slight disappointment—adding that extra cover would have really elevated the overall look.

Overall, this sofa is a great value. It’s well-made, sturdy, and thoughtfully designed. I’m excited to see how guests react to it and look forward to enjoying it for years to come.

I had a full meltdown trying to get the covers on—there really should be a video tutorial. That said, the sofa itself is incredible! My friend owns the real Cloud sofa, and honestly, I like mine even better—and it was $8k cheaper. Totally worth the wait.

This couch is excellent, especially because of the large cushions. In terms of softness, it’s about as comfortable as other couches I’ve owned, but the oversized seating makes it perfect for leaning back or stretching out—especially with the ottoman. Initial instructions of how to put on slip cover were not clear but customer support person had a video which helped immensely. Customer support was very helpful and resolved all issues we had . We returned one sofa as it didn’t fit size wise into our great room. No problems returning it at all. Very happy with the sofa we kept! Looks great!

his is a really nice sofa set. Perfect size for the intended space and great quality. Had a minor issue and seller immediately corrected it. Customer service is 5 star and they certainly take care of their customers. Highly recommend Furia and their products.
